A Winter Ball Purple Horizons 5th Birthday Celebration

To celebrate our 5th Birthday Purple Horizons hosted a “Winter Ball” on Saturday, November 2nd, in Hail Weston House, generously hosted by our supporters, Nigel and Heather Smith. This event was a unique and memorable occasion, marking an important milestone in our history.

Our ball began with a champagne reception accompanied by live music from the incredibly talented Angie Collins. Following the reception, guests were treated to a delectable 4-course meal, with coffee provided by Herron Outside Catering.

Throughout the evening, there was a charity auction and a few special surprises, culminating in a night of dancing in this beautiful setting.

A fabulous £3,500 was raised from the "Winter Ball" which has been donated to support Papworth Trust's BEAT THIS initiative. This incredible program provides music and technology sessions for Papworth Trust clients, allowing them to explore and express themselves through music. Whether it’s strumming guitars, drumming, or writing lyrics, participants have the opportunity to record their own songs at the Beat This studio in Peterborough. These sessions build not only musical skills but also foster a sense of teamwork, confidence, and accomplishment.

For more information about the BEAT THIS initiative, please visit: Papworth Trust BEAT THIS project.

We hope the funds raised from this event will allow BEAT THIS to continue offering life-changing opportunities to those in need.
