A Recipe for a Happy Healthy Life: Men’s Health Evening
Thank you so much to those who supported our successful Purple Horizons Mens’ Health Evening, kindly hosted by St Neots Golf Club, which raised £550 for the local charity St. Neots Man Cave, a community space for men to connect, converse and create. Their activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups of men to enjoy together. They help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, they’re fun.
The event brought together two of Cambridgeshire’s leading men’s health experts, Dr Rob Howlett and Justin Leigh, founder of Walk and Talk 4 Men in St Neots.
The evening was designed to break the stigma around men’s health, providing practical advice and insigts for men of all ages. Topics discussed included prostate health and testing, heart health, testosterone, diabetes, lifestyle choices and mental health for men to find a “recipe for a happy and healthy life”.
