Purple Horizons receive donation from Tangent
Purple Horizons are delighted to receive a donation from the members of Tangent in St Neots in support of their fundraising for St Neots Man Cave.
Tangent’s donation will make a significant difference for St Neots Man Cave supporting their invaluable work in St Neots, where they provide a community space for men to connect and converse which helps reduce loneliness and isolation in a fun and enjoyable way.
Tangent members raised the money by organising a talk with Lucy Lewis. She was the first woman to serve as a Bomb Disposal Officer with the Royal Engineers, and later becoming the first woman appointed as University Marshal at the University of Cambridge.
Tangent is one of the largest women’s organisations in the UK, part of the Round Table family it is a social group for ladies over the age of 45 years.
