Boogie Nights and Vinyl Vibes raises £750.00 for local charities
Our Boogie Nights and Vinyl Vibes event at the Citizens Hub in St Neots was a brilliant success with a celebration of music, memories, and community spirit. The Citizens Hub was the perfect setting for an evening of nostalgia, with its welcoming vibe, great acoustics, and versatile space that kept the dance floor buzzing from start to finish. All About Soul ran the bar and food with their usual flair, expertly mixed drinks, and a friendly team that kept the energy high all night long. Nigel Dave and Ste from Black Cat Radio were amazing, resplendent in gold and silver sparkly outfits.
The night was all about vinyl classics and feel-good grooves, with record spins from the likes of Earth, Wind & Fire, Donna Summer, The Jacksons, New Order, ELO and off course ABBA, keeping feet moving all night long. The dance floor stayed full from the first song to the final record in support of two amazing causes: Black Cat Radio and 3 Pillars Feeding the Homeless. With such a warm response from Purple Horizons members and friends it was a fantastic turnout. We are delighted the evening raised £750.00 for these charities who make such a difference in St Neots and surrounding area.
This quote from Andrew says it all: “It was such a great evening, I knew all the songs and my feet really ached on Saturday. It was so enjoyable dancing, having fun in such a great local venue”
Such was the success of Boogie Nights and Vinyl Vibes we are thrilled to say this event will be back 16 May, so dust off your dancing shoes and stay tuned!
