Christmas Wine Tasting in Kimbolton

Jeff Garland, of Whitchurch Wines, offered members of Purple Horizons a selection of wines and bubbles to taste for a Christmas drinks party or lunch.

Whitchurch Wines started out as a way to help some friends buy great wines at a good price but has since organically grown into something bigger. Having graduated from a pop-up shop, they now occupy a premises on Kimbolton High Street, that includes a range of wines, beers and spirits. Born out of the generosity of a lady close to their hearts, Jean Whitchurch, their aim is to offer an independent wine merchant’s service. 

There is nothing quite like sharing a good bottle of wine with friends and family and Whitchurch Wines offered Purple Horizons members and guests a diverse range from across the globe, spanning grape varieties and winemaking styles.

As one of our guests wrote afterwards “thank you to all for a very enjoyable evening, my friends enjoyed it too and we all learnt something new!”
